1 Blessed are all who fear the LORD,
who walk in his ways.
2 You will eat the fruit of your labour;
blessings and prosperity will be yours.
3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine
within your house;
your sons will be like olive shoots
round your table.

4 Thus is the man blessed
who fears the LORD.
5 May the LORD bless you from Zion;
all the days of your life.
6 May you see the prosperity of Jerusalem and may you live to see your children’s children
Peace be up on Israel.

Psalm 128:- The psalm begins with a beatitude and ends with benediction. It sees our obedience to God as the route to blessings.
The psalm is in two parts. The first part about those who follow God how happy they will be, followed by second part the welfare of Jerusalem.
How happy they will be, are those who follow the ways of God. God’s blessings will shine upon them.
We all go through times when bad things happen to us, and we feel down. But from somewhere there comes a small gleam of light and we begin to see that things are not as dark as they seem.
My friends have said, when they are going through dark times, they sing hymns. It is surprising how much you begin to feel better again when you do.
There are times when we must go through bad times, it is with the thought that God is beside you that keeps you going. God knows you can get through the tough times if you try, you must not give up but keep on going and you will get through.
There was an old saying that it will be better in the morning. When you have slept on your problems they will not seem as bad as they did when it happened.
