1 My soul finds rest in God; alone:
1 My soul finds rest in God; alone:
2 He alone is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress; I will never be shaken.
3 How long will you assault a man?
Would all of you throw him down—
this leaning wall, this tottering fence?
4 They fully intend to topple him
from his lofty place;
they take delight in lies.
With their mouths they bless,
but in their hearts they curse.[b]
5 Find rest, O my soul, in God alone;
my hope comes from him.
6 He alone is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
7 My salvation and my honour depend on God[c];
he is my mighty rock, my refuge.

8 Trust in him at all times, O people;
pour out your hearts to him,
for God is our refuge.
9 low born men are but a breath,
the high born are but a lie.
If weighed on a balance, they are nothing;
together they are only a breath.
10 Do not trust in extortion
or take pride in stolen goods;
though your riches increase,
do not set your heart on them.
11 One thing God has spoken,
two things I have heard:
That you O God are strong,
p>Surely you reward each person
according to what he has done.”

Psalm 62:- Some writers count this has a royal psalm, while others class it as a psalm that shows their trust in God. ‘Find rest my soul in God alone’.
When I go through tough times in my life, I can say ‘find rest for my soul in God alone’. There is nothing people can say or do, that will rest our souls like God’s grace. ‘Faithful One so unchanging’. By Brian Doerksen tells us how we call out to God again and again, our prayers are answered when we put our trust in God. The hymn says God’s love is our anchor which will hold us firm in trouble times.
I have found that when we go through troubled times there is nothing as strong as God’s arms to hold us and keep us stable. When the world tries to drag you down, say a prayer and hold on to God, and He will help you see it through.
