Back to Index page
For the director of music. With stringed instruments. A psalm. A song.

1 May God be gracious to us and bless us
    and make his face shine on us – [b]
2 that your ways may be known on earth,
    your salvation among all nations.
3 May the peoples praise you, O God;
    may all the peoples praise you.
4 May the nations be glad and sing for joy,
    for you rule the peoples justly

and guide the nations of the earth.
5 May the peoples praise you, God;
    may all the peoples praise you.
6 Then land yield its harvest;
    and God, our God, will bless us.
7 God will bless us,
    and all the ends of the earth will fear him.
(NIV)

Psalm 67 – Is a psalm of thanksgiving to God for watching over the world, and we give thanks for His leadership and caring for the world. What more can we say than, ‘May God continue to bless us.’ May the whole world come to know and love God.

This psalm brough memories of when I was at school, and we said the first two verses at the end of day before we went home.

At the end of the day, when you are climbing into bed, just take a look back on all that you have done or surprise that day. Don’t you just want to say ‘Thank You God’.

If the day has been bad, ask God for a better day tomorrow.
